Peter Infeld Strings

These are a great premium set of strings! Many players like the extra colour in their sound with these strings. The Peter Infeld Violin strings are a perfect blend of power and elegance with a rich spectrum of sound colours and a high dynamic range.

The strings deliver instant bow response as well as superior tuning ability. The soft left hand feeling brings out the best in you and your performance.

The E strings have a chrome steel core and are available with platinum, tin or gold plating. The rest of the strings (A, D and G) have synthetic cores. The A and D strings are aluminum wound while the G String is silver wound. The D string is also available with silver winding.

This is one of Thomastik’s newest addition to their line up. If you like how the Dominants play and want to try something with a bit more colour, this would be something to try! They have a powerful sound with a good balance of brilliance and warmth. Projection is great and will fill a room easily while giving you lots of colour choices. Great for soloists!

Larsen Virtuoso

We offer Larsen Virtuoso strings in two tensions, medium and strong. Virtuoso medium and strong are both somewhat lower in tension than their conventional equivalent gauges. The medium tension strings show extraordinary string response, playability and sound modulation capability. The strong version is more focused in sound, more ‘soloistic’ and with higher resistance to the bow.

Extremely well received and consistently reviewed as setting the new standard for the violin. The ambition was to create a truly innovative synthetic core string at only moderate tension yet capable of delivering a richly nuanced sound with exceptional volume.
